Day 10

Post from Louis
On the greece trip today we arrived in Athens. After a two hour van ride we were all very eager to get out and explore this ancient city. To give us some basic knowledge of Ancient Athens we visited the acropolis museum. Here, after splitting of into groups, we were assigned a task to create a myth based on select artifacts that we encountered. We all had a lot of fun with this activity and sharing our myths and stories with each other afterwards was intriguing and highly enjoyable. To add onto our baseline knowledge of Athens from the museum we proceeded to take a tour of the acropolis itself. We had a very informative guide who went out of her way to humour us throughout the tour. Afterwards we walked home through the Greek streets and we even encountered a couple of turtles along the way! All in all our day has been really exiting and enjoyable (even though it was 30 degrees).
